So I got bored today in between rehersals and lessons and all that fun department of music stuff and took some pics of something that you guys prolly don't see everyday. This is basically my life beyond the car scene. All these trumpet together can buy you a 2006 RSX Type S and be able to boost it. I figure, spend the money now on these and once I'm out of grad school I can turn around and make way more than I'll ever imagine using them. So here's some crappy, and I mean CRAPPY Audiovox 8910 camera phone style pics of my babies. Oh and one more thing. Don't mind the awesomeness of my apartment scenery! It's genuine

This mouthpiece is the best on the market. You can't buy any brand better and for a price at only $250 bucks
The mouthpiece is plated in 24k Gold.

Well, somewhat, but then again, I really won't have any choice due to my degree in music ed.

nice. Well, in High school I used to have tons of cuts on the inside of my lips but now with the help of my amazing trumpet professor, Eric Berlin (Very well known)-(Search ITG-International Trumpet Guild) But he's taught me the absolute correct embouchure and positioning of the mouthpiece and trumpet to avoid my lips being torn apart. But, there's been a few times in the past where my lips would be bleeding during rehersals

very nice, that must bring in some good money. Pianos are great. I can't wait to buy a grand piano for my house once I'm out of grad school

Wow I miss mine.
It's funny how much people have an influence over your thinking.
I was the first 4th grader in Pinellas county FL to be in all county band, first charier, it was only for 5th graders.
Come middle school I played up to 8th grade and people make you feel like a dork to be in band, so come high school i gave it up. Dumbest thing I have even done.

damn, shoulda stuck with it cuz once you're introduced to new types of literature, your whole thinkings behind the musicality and technicality of the instrument becomes something incredible. I've learned sooo much since I started back in 4th grade and it only gets better and better. I've played principal for many symphony orchestras and bands and whatnot and now attending UMass, I'm learning sooo much more thanks to my professor. UMass is actually holding the 2007 ITG conference.
Yea, peer pressure and **** like that is so dumb. Look at all the people that told you it was dumb or whatever back then! Look and see what they are doing with their lives now. Most are just drop out losers with no direction and no ambition in life. I was thinking about quitting in 8th grade myself too but my parents pushed me and after I started taking private lessons I developed a new love for it and my inspiration came from that of Wynton Marsalis, of which............................ (Don't mind the red eye)

Met him last november at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. He was performing a concert there and I brought my bach strad there just incase I would be able to meet him, I wanted him to sign something or maybe play somethinig for him. Sure enough, at the end of the concert I went towards the back stage doors (I know TSBMH because I used to be principal trumpet of the Empire State Youth Orchestra and we've preformed there many times as well as Carnegie Hall and Tanglewoods Ozawa Hall.) But he took me back stage and asked for me to play some scales and I told him, well.... How bout I play you Jungle Blues instead (one of his own pieces) So I played that for him and he commented and whatnot, shared some of his knowledge with me, he autographed the bell of my trumpet but it came off. I was going to have have it laquered but it would have distorted the sound the horn made. But all in all, I can't believe I had the chance to meet my inspiration. But this is what you get from motivation and inspiration.

Nice looking collection you have there. You should be in a Ska band.

lol, actually, I did make a demo with a buddy of mine and everyone that's listened to that without me telling them were like what band is this? I really like it! I'm like well it's me and my friend corey, they're like NO WAY. So we made a pretty kick *** demo, it was me on trumpet, and corey on drums and guitar and we recorded it in his basement on this music program he had with his sound board and ****. Was pretty sweet. I'd like to start some sort of band, but idk about ska. I'd rather have a sweet jazz band. More $$$$

Played tuba for six years in high school. Don't have any passion for music anymore... Nice looking trumpets. Also, I have never seen a four valve like that. Nice instruments.
I've played trumpet for a few years and just sold my 1969 Olds trumpet. Beautiful with the yellow, silver and rose brass. My g/f says I was a band geek, haha.

Nooooooo!
Keep them for a long long long time my friend... Musical instruments are worth more than just money.
You'll be glad someday when you are old and wrinkled, and no longer give a expletive about an RSX with boost...

Me too. I started playing clarinet in 3rd grade, and switched to teh alto sax in 6th & I was always 1st chair. I also took private lessons & was in a jazz band through private lessons. Come highschool I quit, but it was only because I refused to do marching band & that was the only way to be in the concert band, you had to do both. I really wish that I would have suffered throgh it. Oh well. I am hoping to get a new sax & start taking private lessons again next year. I can't even read music anymore
