What kind of 60foot are you hitting?

 

All of those runs were 1.72-1.76

 

What is your technique? Rev and dump with your foot on the floor, or are you trying to modulate the clutch a bit?

I was working the clutch after that first run, on the first run you can hear the car spining and me backpeddaling to try and get it hooked up. I also launched that way because i didnt have any spare axels on me that night and the ones in the car are the same car quest remans that were in it last year when i won that race.

 

good thing that yellow hatch broke they was running some badass times ... your car runs good man you still selling it?

Not good at all that they broke, the car i raced in the finals ran 10's @135 all night then had problems against me. Im not trying hard to sell it but i would for the right price.

 

Where any of those videos with a 3rd gear burnout?

Props to the most consistent damn racer I know. This guy has beaten me twice in the finals at the same damn race.

Haha i wont lie i was in "the zone" all night pretty much cause i knew that was the only chance i had against those guys. You know my secret to winning that race? The special slicks i purchased from you Art, i think they have magic speed dust on them haha

Look at me mom I drive a rwd auto that I just mash the pedal & it goes. If you had a fraction of the skill that it takes to take a fwd down the track straight, not to mention the time it takes to set it up right so you don't end up spinning the whole way, then you might not be a redneck.

I'd say it takes more skill to get a 10 second rwd car down the track than it does playing point and shoot with a civic on big fn slicks that doesn't make any power until the almighty turbo decides to get going.

Torque off the line is harder to deal with than eleventy billion top end 9k rpm horsepower.

Actually im trying to work on them, i used to cut better that than on my old setup (1.67's) but they are decent for now.
