The car just clicks does not turn over. I took the starter and battery to a auto parts store and they are both fine. It's an automatic so I was thinking the safety switch to make sure the car is in park or neutral. Or the ignition coil? Any suggestions does anyone know where the safety switch is located?

 

have you checked the battery cables

 

Yes, I checked all cables to the fuse box and to starter/battery. All lights work also. Thanks

 

Weird! I hooked everything back up and the car started!! It must of been the starter? Thanks everyone

 

do you have a 4cyl or v6?
