on my 1994 honda accord ex, under the intake hose there is a box that the lower part of the intake hose went into. can i take that out also along with my intake box? there is a wiring harness that goes to that thing. what is that for by any chance anyone know??? help please. im doing instalation as you write.

 

Is it the resonator box? The thing behind your bumper?

 

That's it. You can take it out. There are no wires going to it. What is it for? to quiet down your intake.
