The expletive are you thumbs downing for? Some buddys of mine made those lips on there autox cars so it would flex when you hit a cone..it worked great, even looked good too IMO

In my opinion... 
They look bad for street cars, especially when you see bare mounting hardware... "LOOK" is the key word people, dont bite my freaking head off!
Of course on the other hand for a track car, where function > fashion, its a good idea. Its a nice way to keep the bad **** from ruining your bumper.
