Has anyone ever tried to change the blinking alarm light on a 97 accord SE (stock alarm) is it possible to change it to a different color?

 

^^ just replace the LED w/ the color you want.

Last time I looked at it was a long time ago, and from what I remember, it looked smaller than a 3mm.

I believe you're right. I was going to change mine out for a brighter red LED, but I never got around to ordering it. Now I have an aftermarket alarm, so...

 

ooh can anyone remember the exact bulb size? that'd be great!!

 

I doubt that you will find an exact replacement. The way to do this would be to get either a 3mm or a 5mm LED and file it down to fit.
