Default Misfire while st00k is cold?

Test drove an s2000 and I swear that I wasn't anywhere near the redline and the thing was acting like I was spanking the limiter. The only thing I can think of was that the car was still sorta cold when I tried to run up the rev range. Does the S2k do this when it is cold?

And does anyone know what year the sebring metallic silver came out?

Thanks guys, coming closer and closer to making that buy.

yes, if it's cold (1 bar), then it'll do that. if it's warm (3 bars), you can take it to 9,000. most people say that you should wait until you think the oil is warm (a couple minutes i guess?)

silverstone metallic was available from 2000-2001 model year.
sebring silver is currently being sold, but is only available in the 2002 model year.
