I may pick up the VIS cf zc hood (usdm) this weekend. Will a b18 or k20 fit under this hood? I may want to swap one of these engines in the future.

b18 yes. K20 not sure.

when I pulled my gsr for my lsvtec my hood did require pinning, mostly cause I have a ton of extra crap I wouldn't move, most people don't need to pin.

It's an awesome hood fits better then stock lighter and I love that bump, reminds me of a tr4a one of my fav english roadsters.

 

For the K20 You will need to cut the webing on th VIS. The Fiber Image SIR Style hood will clear with 1/2 inch of room.

Yeah I believe that the fiber image's CF hoods have no webbing, and clear much easier.

 

Great! So the hood will clear a b18 for sure and a k20 with some cutting.
