Default Buddy wrecked his SRT, now going VIP in Tennessee!

The other night, my best friend of 6 years was making his normal drive home from work through the sticks of B.F.E. Coming around a curve a deer popped out of no where and my buddy swearved to miss it and ended up in a ditch and a fence.

This wouldn't be the first or last time a deer would jump out into the road considering the terrain and area he lives in but it did finnally cause some damage. His car is totaled and he is now looking at something a little bit different. Something that no one really has here in TN.

I have one buddy that drives a Black GS400 on some JP's and he is actually from california. So with that said he's now looking to build a Lexus of some sort (more than likely a 2000ish GS300 or 400. I dont have any accident pics but here's some of the car and what could be coming...

going from this...

to something like this..

These are the wheels he's ordered, rays lexion 203's (2 peice)

I'm sure almost everyone would agree this new movement to a GS is an improvement over an SRT and as for me, im keeping the civic for a little while

This was a two for one deal. Your friend was ok and an ugly neon is totaled.

The GS is a pretty nice car. I'm about to get rid of my CL for a GS300 w/ Navi.

If he's gonna mod it, the 2JZ probably has more mod potential than the V8.

i'm thinking he's leaning toward the 400, al he's looking to put on it is an intake, and maybe a real quiet exhuast, 5.8 (0-60mph) factory.. i think thats all he's looking for performance wise. He's taking the 16" flip down monitor and clarion touch screen and putting it in the lexus as well

btw I lived in charlotte for the first 15 years of my life, mint hill/mathews area and lake norman

Why is GDD bashing the srt4 when it's faster than most of their cars?

Cause theyre shitty neons with mostly asshat owners. Im the first person to defend cars against stupid ht'ers, but its totally warranted with srt4s. Ill take my slower car anyday.

i don't know about your friend, but i was considering doing th VIP thing a long while back. after driving an EK-itr, and the EVO, i don't know how well i'd be able to adjust to sitting in a luxury sedan.

Big mistake, he should get the 300 if he is going to mod it.

explain how you get 5.8 (0-60) in a 300? with some simple mods (under 1000 bucks)
