Had a question about SiR headlights into an EJ8
I bought a set of new JDM SiR headlights for my 97 Civic coupe, but when I installed them it seems like they didn't slide in all the way. They kind of bug out all the way around the entire headlight, but it is really only noticeable on the upper corners. The edge of the light doesn't lie flush with the rest of the body. I was wondering if this was a common problem, or if maybe something is getting in the way (although the bolt holes all lined up fine), and if there was any way to correct this problem?
oh wait im a dumbass. yeah just check your mounts and look at all of the bolts to see if you can adjust anything. also did you get them from a good source?
Here are some pictures...sorry they're dark, it's raining here and I didn't feel like getting soaked. I got them from PasswordJDM and they came in an OEM Honda Parts box.

did you try to adjust them, losen all the bolts up and try moving them around till you get them to line up. I have the sir (96-98) sir headlights and they lined up perfect after a little bit of adjusting.

OK I got it fixed. I had to take the headlight out anyway to repair a broken turn signal socket, and I noticed that the mounting points on the frame that connect to the inner sides of the headlight (towards the middle of the car) were bent a little, and missing the bolts. With the mounting points bent it was preventing the headlight to go in all the way. I straightened them out, and everything's fine!
