Default gt3071r on 2.0L gsr?

I'm looking to change my setup around and gear it more toward road racing. I searched and found a post with dyno graphs regarding the gt28rs vs. gt3071r on a stock gsr...
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1045887
I'm looking for the same kind of midrange and spool but with more top end capability. Would the extra displacement of a 84mm sleeved gsr give me the midrange I want and be good to around 450whp? Any dyno sheets of a similiar setup would be great. Thanks.

Just buy the one with the .63 T3 housing/T31 wheel and you will be set.

sp00led runs the .82 A/R 3076R on his 83mm motor....

From what i saw, it had excellent midrange and spooled quickly.

PM him and see if he has some graphs available.

*side note*
The GT3076R should be good for over 500whp

Was just about to say a GT3076 w/ .82 AR is the best street turbo hands down. I would not get into GT35R territory unless i were running race gase occasionally, OR pushing atleast 2.2L displacement.

Peep this graph: Built/sleeved gsr, 84mm 9:1 cp, gt30r w/.82a/r housing, 3" exhaust, 1000cc injectors, 15psi on pump

What more could you ask for from a street car...

That graph looks good... Since I'm going to be road racing I was going for a gt28rs, but I figured a gt30 variation would work better for my 2.0l. Would the gt3071r spool a little faster than the 76? I don't mind sacrificing some top end to get low and mid range. Thanks for the replys.

Well strictly from garrett, I dont like the T2 flange and the 5 bolt housing of the GT3071. For me its T3 4bolt/v-band or BUST! Your choice buddy.

yes the 3071 will have faster spool, maybe about 4-500 rpm depending on your setup and which turbine ar you use. i think it gonna max out around 450whp though. also as mentioned there is both a t2 and t3 flanged 3071r. the t2 utilizes an internal wastegate.

Hope this can help a bit:

I used to have a 28rs on the car, and now have the 3076r.

Bone stock block:

28rs 330whp/250 wtq at 10 psi, dyno:
http://forums.evans-tuning.com...=2711

3076r 325whp/240wtq at 8 psi, only lost a few hundred rpm in spool

The 28rs was awesome, it's instantaneous, which does mean traction will be a little harder to actually obtain, lol. The 3076r however, I really enjoy. It'll do 500+ on race fuel.

For what you're stating as your goals, the 3071r should suit you fine.

If it helps, I can scan my dyno of the 30r, I don't have a file of it.
