Default aluminum flywheels?

okie dokie. looking to upgrade the ole drivetrain components. thinking about a fidenza aluminum flywheel and either an ACT or Excedy clutch. i know this has been brought up many a time, and for that i apologize. only thing, when this was brought up in the past, the aluminum flywheels were never discussed very much. i'm curious if there are any disadvantages to them. like, how is their wear compared to OEM? reliable? just figured i'd get the info. before i coughed up the money for the parts. also all input from those with personal experience with any aftermarket drivetrain components is appreciated. thanks in advance.

the advantage of an aluminum flywheels is the reduced weight, the lighter the flyhweel, the less weight it has to turn and thus more power gets to the wheels, it dosnt add horsepower but itll have more power going to the wheels

yes faster throttle response and acceleration oh and heard that they cause problems disengaging the vtec not to sure if your single vtec will have that problem
