My New Personal BEST
Went to the track and nearly missed 9s... actually i was a bit off..a few tenths!!!
93 civic HB full street car, Turbo4 setup, full cage, etc etc.. no parachute YET!!!
car made 529whp(dynojet) on a 1.9L GSR gt35r Beeyond Turbo kit & 255walbro
Best ET: 10.22@143.5mph high 1.7 60ft
Best MPH: 10.25@145.8mph high 1.7 60ft
Not bad for a 3 week build..... In a week I'm hitting the tracks again to see if 9s are possible!!! Even a 10.00 I'll be pleased for the amount of power I'm pushing in a TRUE street car.
I'll post pixs later.....

no dude.... i've known people that have done 9sec in full EG street cars with 550-570whp give or take...... use a BIGGG turbo and making 600whp doesn't mean much.... try using a smaller turbo and make mid 500whp........ a hint for the many that don't know it alreay.....the turbo is the trick!!! good luck guys!!!

oh no more shop DRAG car bro... doesn't make since to show people a DRAG car. It does in some sense, but not as clearly as a FULL TURBO4 true street car. Basically we implemented many of the details into the new turbo4 car. Learned from the Drag car big time!!!

Trade secret.
Bee, what did you guys do with the Hotrod shop car then? Is it up for sale? I do agree that it makes more sense to race a "street class" car since 99.9% of your customers are street cars. Good luck with it!

suprised to hear to talk like that. when you were building your full race car, it sounded like all you wanted to do was find out what's the biggest turbo you can put on there. too bad your customers' cars don't turn out like that, without having to be rebuilt within a couple months after getting them back fresh from the shop. I think your new goal should be qaulity not times or hp. If you really want to focus on the customer and make them come back, focus on building it right the first time and have them come back because they want to upgrade not to repair. And how do I know all of this? From experience and from the many people who's car had to be swapped back to a d-series because of the poor quality of their turboed b series. Not only is it a build issue, also a tuning because I know you tune the majority if not all of the cars you build.
