Weird Radio Problem (no reception)
So, my radio has never worked in my car since I got it. The other day I took the glove box out and found that the antenna wire that connetcs under the dash near the glove box was disconnected. So, I plugged it in. My radio started working fine. Then, I disconnected the battery to put new terminal ends on. When I re-connected the battery the radio quit on me again. I have been through everything to make sure it is all connected, including putting another CD player in. Nothing..... Does anyone have any ideas? The CD player works fine, but radio gets no reception. Is there a seperate fuse or relay for the antenna? I am confused.......
That happened to me before. But then again it was my antenna wire but you said yours is plugged in, tricky. How about just double checking all your wires to make sure they're plugged in. You can always try scanning for the stations then trying your radio to see if it picks it up better.
