Default bulletin for engine light

Tech for Honda/Acura here for 9 years. Want to share some info. about a tsb (technical service bulletin) in Canada. If you get a code 1457 evap system leak. By the way, code 1457 is through Honda's scanner. If you jump it the 2 pin connector it might come up as code 90, but I'm not too sure about that. Anyways, the bulletin says in some areas of North America, salt my corrode this a bypass solenoid, which might short out and zap the ecu. This is right beside the fuel tank.
In Canada ecu is covered for 8 years/130 000 kilometer. Just got mine replaced and bought a new bypass solenoid. The states might be different, but anyone who has time should check it out. Cost of new ecu is $1200...love when things are free.

I got that code and fixed it as well. It's the evaporative emissions code. IIRC it only cost me $50 to fix but if we can get it done for free, that would be great. Thanks for the heads up.
