Default upgrading .. okay before swap?

okay i plan on performing a kswap on my 01 ex in about a year and half at the same time i'll also be changing the transmission from auto to manual. in the mean time what components can i upgrade that won't need to be changed ... i know rims i can ... also brakes and suspension what about strut bars are they according to the engine or car body chasis?

you should be safe with a Neuspeed upper front, But rear upper/lower and upgrading the rear sway should be fine. I'd leave upgrading the exhaust alone, because a Kswap will require a large diameter exhaust than a dseries should use.

the best thing to do would be work on your suspension. get a good adjustable suspension setup or just some good shocks/springs if your into that. and rear discs helps out alot when you want to start going fast. dont touch the drivetrain or engine bay or you'd be wasting money.
