Default My 1990 Civic DX project

Hey guys I am doing a Civic project and if there is interest I will do before and after photos throughout the whole building process. Its got 328,000kms and I picked it up for $800. I have already purchased a 90-91 Civic SiR b16a swap so I will take photos of the whole deal. I have always wanted to do a sweet 88-91 Civic up and now I finally have the funds to do it (refinancing your apartment mortgage with $10K extra is the ****!). So yeah I am going to take photos starting tonight and chronicle this buildup. Word!

Hey also, has anyone heard much about Garage Five in Richmond, BC? I am getting them to install the engine with Innovative mounts, a new clutch, timing belt, waterpump, catback exhaust, header and air intake. If you have had work at Garage Five before please post how it went. They will be dong all that work for $1400. Good deal? Thanks.

I would do a lil more research and do the swap yourself, But if you really dont feel compfortable doing it yourself im not sure if thats a good labor price or not

Oh yeah. Also that $1400 price includes miscellaneous stuff like rad hoses, clutch cable, throttle cable, vacuum hoses, rewiring the harness for the engine and MPFI and all that. I thought the price was pretty reasonable considering. Thats alot of labor. And the installing my timing belt, waterpump, clutch, header, exhaust and intake. And that price is in Canadian bling.
