Default Noob Question: Tires

I have a '06 Coupe EX, with stock 16's... I want to upgrade to 18's low profile, is that going to effect the accuracy of the speedometer?! Different tire size different...whatever?

EDIT: here is an example of what I plan on

Speedo would go from reading 65mph to 65.24mph

Thanks, I figured it would be something relatively minimal... And its not like i'll be rocketing the EX anywhere, so if the freeway speed is that close, then I've got nothing to worry about.

I was thinking of switching to 17's too and also with 225/45/17's but I was worried about rubbing cause I have the eibach sportline kit. Clearance is pretty low if you ask me. I know you have a drop too but do you think it will not rub? Let me know if it doesn't rub cause thats the size I wanna run too. Or if anyone else has a drop and went to 225's does yours rub?

go to your shop tell then you have these springs they lower this amount and that you want to fit 17's but you dont want them to rub so you want to know what options there is .... likewise for other sizes.... i droped it 1'' drop and biggest i could go for 18's are 225/40/18 225 determines the overall size of the leght of the tire as where 40 meaning the hight of the tire
