Default Whats it worth? gsxr750

I have a friend that is going to sell me his 95 gsxr750 for $1500. The only thing is that it has been sitting in storage for 2 year and i know it will need some work but, i do not know to what extent. What do yall think? Is this a good deal?

that's pretty cheap. Depends on how much work it needs though.

As long as you understand that your friend is no longer responsible for the bike's condition as soon as money changes hands.

Nothing to sour a relationship faster than a bad business deal.

First bike? I'm guessing yes. So use that money you'll have saved to purchase gear. Don't forget to take the MSF, and insurance is a good idea.

This would not be my first bike. I have had 2 before this one, 02 f4i and an 03 r6, and current 2004 shadow. I know that there are problems with the bike and thats why he is selling it to me cheap. Im going into this knowing it might be more then i wanted but thats all good, i need a project.

Is your friend hurting for the cash? What if you offered $1000 for the bike? Obviously the bike doesn't mean **** to him if it's been sitting for two years, and every cent you save helps.

F4i --> R6 --> Shadow ?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!

j/k

I know i know it was a change but im not mature enough to keep a sportbike at my age, i want to speed all the time. I will see if he will take 1000, he just need to clean out the place for another car and he had no idea were to start on fixing the bike. and about the shadow, i love it, now i want a vtx 1800.
