is wheel hop an common problem with the dc5 platform? my s does it whenever it breaks traction, is there any specific component that causes it or is it just the mac strut design?

yeah get the innovative mounts. Their cheaper and they dont vibrate as much as the esmm's.

And yeah wheel hop is a common problem with dc5's.

you need a traction bar to get rid of wheel hopping. I put in Hasport solid mounts thinking it would reduce hopping, but it didn't.
