Default best springs/shocks for the 89 crx

I'm getting ready to change the springs/shocks on my rex because I'm tired of the bumpy *** ride (previous owner has it all the way down to the bumpstops). I've got 15"rims with 50 series tires and dont want too severe a drop and dont want too much tire space either. Any suggestons on springs or shocks? I was thinking progress or eibach, I want decent steel thats not going to sag after a year. I also don't want to drop a grip since the rex is my daily driver.
