Friday night I went up to capital raceway in my civic coupe. I just got my new m and h slicks and figured i had to break them in . Anyways i got four runs in. The first three i didnt heat up the tires enough and with 1.9 and 2.0 60's i got 11.7, 12.0, and 11.9. The last run i did a real good 2nd gear burnout to make sure those damn things were hot and finally hooked. (also i lowered the tired pressure to 9 psi from 11psi). The time was.....

Still wasnt my best 60' ever so i think maybe i can squeeze out another tenth or two. Wish i had my video camera but i forgot it. Next friday i will go back and get a video to post up. The motor is an 2.0 ls/vtec with sc61, 18 psi 93 oct., street tune. Slicks were 24.5x8.5/13 MandH.

Nice run man. I just ran a personal best this weekend as well, 11.009@130. I was hoping to catch up to Boner Ben with his b16 running 10.94, maybe next time.

I was up at Capitol on friday but I didnt stick around long enough to see any of the other hondas. Do you have safety equipment or they havnt said anything to you yet.

 

It has a 5 point rollbar and 5 point harness. Its jon adkins (BYE) old coupe if that rings a bell. (first import on pinks woot woot haha) i bought the shell a few months back.

Ahh that car! Hopefully I'll get my new wheels/slicks before friday and will be up there. Sounds like 10's are right around the corner.

 

last friday night was pretty cool. There were a lot of turbo hondas and two hot-rod integras. Hopefully see ya there this friday.

 

i know this has nothing to do with drag racing but just for ***** and giggles i thought i might show you guys what happens to a daily driver crx when we get bored on Kent Island. Some how yesterday i found myself at true value buying pink paint for my car. It was funny as hell going to school today. haha

Man I hope you bought some black primer to cover that mess up! Damn it's blochy pink, nice times though.
