Default fastbrakes 11" upgrade ???

I want to upgrade the front brakes on my 1991 crx dx. I did a search but still have the following questions...

1. will rota slipstreams 15x6.5 clear the brakes?
2. with the adaptor plate provided can I still use the dx spindle, etc?
3. will it be fine to use the stock 13/16" master cylinder if not upgrading the rears? (I will upgrade later but trying to keep costs down since kit is $560 w/ shipping)

http://fastbrakes.com/shop/pro...d=121 ?

1. Don't know I don't have any experience with them

2. You will retain your stock spindles

3. I would not recomend it but it has been done. I would suggest an Integra 260V Non ABS Booster and MC

There is other OEM solutions too. What is your purpose for doing this? If you just want better braking for the street this is a waste of time. You need to upgrade your pads and rotors and that would be plenty.

What he said^^

You can get a used master cylinder at a junkyard for $20.

The slipstreams will fit. You're considering a kit that still uses OEM claipers right? If it was the wilwood kit, the slips would probably still clear as long as the offset is on the low side.
