I need some answers here guys.
Type R transmission, of course it's electronic via speedo with the plug on the tranny and what not. I have a 89 civic hatch si, of course these things got speedo cable that dips into the tranny and snaps into place with a clip to tell you how fast your going.
I need to know if someone, or company makes a kit or how i would go about doing this to get my speedo to work with the type R transmission, and what C.v axles i would end up using to fit it in my car with a b16.

wow a reply like that wont get you any where, axels depend on the intermedate shaft and the speedo im pretty sure you can use a cable driven vss from a 92-3 teg if not your guna have to change your cluster other wise the speedo wont work but you could get everything else to..
then again with a replay like that why did i take the time to post

as for axels if you use hydro intermedite shaft use hydro(94+) axels if you use cable use cable(90-93) axels. you might have to change the axel seal on the hydro tranny if you use a 90-93 intermedit shaft.... hasport would have all this info

Yeah that search can be confusing sometimes, especially when you enter like 4 or 5 differen't ways of the same thing and still nothing found.
Btw, i also heard about the hydro transmissions seal and using the correct shaft, but now i know thanks to you bud, thanks for the verify man.
