LOW PROFILE TIRES
I got rota circuit 8's they are 15" rim. I was wondering if you can get low profile tires for these. I heard you can get them but they are for off road use only or something. Anyone know anything about this..

How to read tires.
195/50/15
195 = The width of the tread in mm
50 = The height of the tread wall is 50% of the width of the tread
15 = Obviously, rim diameter
Going lower than a 50 series will make your entire wheel package smaller than stock and throw off your speedometer. One of the ideas with bigger rims and lower profile tires is that you want to keep the original outside dimension of the stock wheel package while adding performance at the same time. Wheel size also affects your gear ratios.

CRXs came with 3 different tire sizes
HF P165/70 R13 All-Season 1763.1mm Circumference
DX P175/70 R13 All-Season 1807.0mm Circumference
Si P185/60 R14 82H 1814.6mm Circumference
195/50/15 tires have a 1809.6mm Circumference
195/45/15 tires have a 1748.3mm Circumference
195/50/15s are within the three different sizes Honda offered therefore within the stock discrepancy. My 195/45/15s are 0.8% "faster" than the HF tires stock, therefore if the spedometer was PERFECTLY set for an HF tire it would read 59.5mph instead of 60mph AT 60mph... Personally I believe they are well within the accuracy of the stock spedometer so pick whatever you like. I wanted the smaller sidewall and whatever miniscule help in acceleration it will give.
