okay. my friend has an em1. totally stock at first. one of his friends put in an arc box for him the other day. the car is now overheating, like little bit of smoke coming out. my friend says it could possibly be that his friend did not plug in the wires for the fan. im not sure, but when installing an intake, is it really necessary to take off the fan plugs?

 

oh btw, could it be the fan? or could it be something else? possibly a lot of air going in the intake and not enough air going out? he is still running a stock si full exhaust. as said, arc is the only mod he's done.
