Default Fair price?

"Up for sale is one 2005 GSXR 600. Bike is good as new, 1500 miles, with first service professionally performed with synthetic oil and a K&N oil filter. Never down, not a scratch on her, perfect in every way. Crappy stickers already removed, frame sliders, fender eliminator, and carbon tank pad, all the basics installed and ready to ride. Bike is located in the Bellingham area and clear title is on hand. Contact me with any questions, $6000.00."

Thats the discription of the ad. Im thinking about picking it up, is it fairly priced? From the pictures he has on his ad, it looks in good shape, doesnt look like its down are anything in that matter. TIA

You need to go check it out. Off paper, yes it sounds like a good deal.

I may be mistaken since I haven't been shopping for a bike in awhile, but $6k seems a bit cheap. The bike is only a year old (almost two). Those prices are more in line with a bike that is an '03 or '04. But then again, I live in California, where almost everything is inflated (including *****).

If it's legit, go for it. Watch out for Nigerian checks though... :/

Found out the guy selling the bike owns a bike shop. Sounds too fishy, its to cheap, stickers are removed. I am not going to take a chance

Is it a reputable shop? Been around for awhile under the same ownership?

could be that he worked on it and fixed it, and the owner refused to pay or couldnt pay, so he just wants his money back plus interest.
