Just need a few questions answered, and some reasurance.

I went to the junk yard and picked up a head from a 93LS teg and plan on doing some headwork on...mill, port and polish, valve job done. I am getting this done cheaply(my friends are mechanics and am I am currently learning my way around a vehicle...anyway, I drive a 94Ls automatic(I know...I love the car though!)....I am 99% percent positive that the engine is the same! It was a 5spd. I don't want to waste my time on this head if it is not exactly the same...I will just get another, I have time since this is an extra...

also, any advice of headwork--->I plan on running Nitrous later on in a few months or so...

The casting is the same. Its the same head basically. The cams are probably different in your car because it is an a/t, but that is not a problem. It will work with what you plan to do.

 

I don't know what the difference will be but I am going to go with the 5spd head and see what the diff is and maybe even put in the auto cams...Maybe there will be a difference in the 2 sets of cams.
