Default NEED HELP ASAP!

I was trying to do a compression test and the 18mm side where you plug it into the motor got stuck inside and i cant get it out, happen to anyone? anyone know how to get it out? much appreciated.

Does it have a hex shape on that part that is stuck? If it does, maybe a spark plug socket?

yea it has a hex shape where it is stuck but its an 18mm and i tried 18mm sockets and they dont fit in the cylinders.

that happened to me, grind down a cheap 18 mm socket till the walls are real thin and it will fit. use a bench grinder, keep the walls smooth so that the socket doesn't get stuck good luck man

depends on ur specific tester, i used a standard depth one

alright thanks. hm i heard you can buy thin walled 18mm sockets. is that true? will these actually fit in the cylinders.

Does the hose part connecting to the gauge twist on to the part that is stuck? I had the bottom part stuck on too before but i twisted the hose back on then loosened it and it came out as one piece.

yea it is, i been trying to use the hose but everytime i unscrew is the hose comes out by itself and leaves the other part inside.
