Stereo Cd problems
I've got a 98 accord lx 4dr-4cyl........with factory single cd player has an E-01 msg, after inserting a cd to play........car manual say see dealer. Does it really needs to be taken into the dealer so they can make some $ off of me, or is it something that I can repair myself............help? Thanks

This happened to my uncle Cr-v and I never did find out what he did. Now I am curious.

alot of the older 6th gen cd player is taking a dump, they all started out with not reading burned disk and then the next thing you know, it's not reading anything you feed to it.
could be just a misaligned "head"
there's no point to getting it fix, unless you know someone in the business.
