I recently swapped a 2000 b18c5 into my 91 integra, I put the entire type r transmission internals into a 93 ys1 casing lsd and all. no problems.
I am currently trying to put a dealership ordered type r lsd into a friends ys1 but the body of the lsd is to wide for the ring gear.

did i recieve the wrong part?
am I wrong in assuming that a lsd for a b series tranny should fit all b series?

 

i think you need the type r final drive but i am not sure.
