Fresh outta the Paint Boof (Warning: del sol content inside)
Alright so my ride just got painted, it looks fine in the pics but its dripping pretty bad in one pic. Im taking it back tomorrow so theyll redo it, in any case here are the pics. The complete job consisted of shaved: Honda emblems, sidemarkers, licenseplate holes, and a **** ton of body work.

How did that feel?.......Getting Fu*ked by Macco! Demand your money back so they don't mess it up the 2nd time. Why don't you have them clean your engine bay up since they messed it up.?

IT'S GETTIN REPAINTED. and i know it looks like ****. Im taking it back tomorrow so theyll redo it, and if they dont ill start cracking skulls

1. The paint came out nice
2. Wet sand that overspray
3. Who's the retard that forgot to cover up the engine bay with newspaper or garbage bags to prevent overspray?
4. Those rims are hideous. Makes the del slo look like a monster truck.
5. bbs rims are fugly, no matter what kind you get
6. lose the cheesy fake CF dash trim.
7. Fix your fart can thats sticking out about a foot past the rear bumper
8. Start with the lip kit, it needs a front one for sure!
9. Do some black housing headlights
10. Buy some steel wool and take that to your intake manfold, fuel rail and other parts in your engine bay that seemed to be spray farted with paint
11. the shocker was played out back in the late 90's
12. Keep working

Funny you mention that. I didn't think it was old or played out, but maybe it is. Rims is hideous on that car even though you are getting rid of em'.

wow, thats all i have to say. i took the car to maaco, and showed them everything they did wrong and that i asked for them to paint the sides, and they immeidately agreed to repaint the whole thing. no questions, i tried getting mad at them for everything, the engine bay, the muffler everything. However they immediately apologized and agreed to fix said problem. maaco gets an A from me for customer service, even though they fucked up the first time

the paint should be done by thursday. and to answer the roll cage question, im doing it for increasing body stiffness, not in case i actually roll the car, and also for a good spot to mount the harnesses.

you can,
jason penmans del sol had at least a 10 pt cage in it, its all about custom fab though, and that is gonna cost you $$ and you're going to cheap out on paint, chances are you're going to cheap out on a 'roll cage'
besides your car probably isn't going to need one, as per NHRA 11.49 requires a roll BAR not cage...
and i mean that in the nicest way possibly, don't bother spending your money on it
