Default ported Euro R IM expected numbers

Has anyone ported out the euro R IM, and dyno'd. I have a 2000 euro R H22A in my 97 prelude, and am planning on porting that thing way the hell out, and getting a match ported TB. What numbers would the euro R IM make when its ported? anyone?

Probably make smaller numbers intil you hit 12,000 rpms. Please don't mess up your IM...

I'm planing on doing something similar, not really porting, but more like smoothing. If you notice inside the runners you can see the casting along the sides. I'm going to be sanding that out with 200 grit then 400 grit sand paper. I just dont know how far in I'll be able to go.

As for porting the im, I think its a bad idea, unless you turbo'ed or SC.

i read somewhere that if you port&polish the mani too smooth you actually lose power because you mess up the airflow

It's a great IM in stock form. Leave it alone.

bad info. for forced induction it is just that. if FORCES air into the intake manifold so for a street car there is little to be gained from porting the intake mani. but for all motor you are trying to get as much air into the motor as possible with out getting too much. I wouldnt suggest porting the intake mani until you have some solid head work done....at least cams and a header. While you have it cracked open you might as well port and polish the head...then that ported intake mani will become much more handy

well, i have an H22a4 with euro-r internals (cams and pistons) including the mani...i'm running a M2B4 so it's not a "real" euro-r but euro-r specs.

My euro R on my street car was cut in 1/2 ported and rewelded by endyn and made gains across the board sorry no dyno's avail. Its all in who ports and does the work IMO if its done correctly you will get more gains then stock. There is room for improvment on a stock unit if done right.
