96 accord vs 93 skyline gts-t
do u guys believe a 96 honda accord vtis (f22b1 vtec) could win a 93 skyline gts-t on the 0-140km drag? cuz i just had that experience, and i think that gts-t has done the best since its engine blustered and the turbo kept "blowing off". i shifted from 2nd gear to the 3rd until almost 90km, after i ****** to the 3rd gear and ran about 140km/h, that guy was left behind about 30 meters. can u guys believe, cuz im so surprised. ps: the only modification i have is 215 tyres, K&N filter, and without spare tyre.
Well the skyline gts-t, Isnt that fast, with like 215 hp and 264 lb tq, But i HIGHLY doubt, (unless the skyline wasnt running well, or bad shifting, ) Came into play that your 4 cylinder OR even the 6 cylinder beat it...
What he forgot to mention was that the skyline was running on 4 cylinders instead of 6, with 22" chrome rims, 3 passengers (each weighing in at 200 pounds), 300 pounds worth of body kit and paint, and had a slipping clutch. That, and the driver had never driven a stick-shift before.

If SS Cobalts can beat 01 GS-R's which stomp all over 94-96 Accords STOCK... I highly doubt that you beat a Skyline, regardless of it being somewhat old. Mind you I used those cars simply because my friends have them. Anyways, even if you did happen to pass the Skyline
1) He was either effin with you (because simply, that's what I would do if I had one) and he didn't want to waste gas.
2) He sucked at driving and swallowed.
3) The car is in horrible condition.

**** i'd be excited as well if my 4banger passed up a skyline in 3rd gear....
the hell... i'd be more confused than excited, personally if that had happened i woulda asked the other driver how much shrooms he's eaten in the past 8 hours hahhaha cuz he must suck donkey dung in that curr

Why does everyone here assume that every single skyline made is ***** fast and is untouchable?
An R32 GTR with a great driver is good for high 12's and 105-108 MPH through the traps stock. Think stock LS1 Camaro. A GTS-T has 130 horsepower less than a GTR, is about 200 pounds lighter, and is full time RWD. He wouldn't have put 30 meters on the car (that's like 90 feet, think 6-7 car lengths) but if he missed a shift, had a boost leak, or spun very hard and let off he could have beat him.
A buddy of mine drove down through California in his GTS-T, he has a T3/TO4E 50-trim and some other mods and it traps about 110 in the 1/4 but everyone in the states thought it was some 9 second race car
