Default GT Grant hub question...*SEARCHED*

Hey guys, I got a Grant wheel that I need to slap on my 94 DX, but all I come up with is the hub #3595 which is really only for up to 1991.

Will this hub work? Or is there some other part number that anyone knows of?

Thanks,
Nis

On their site they say that the kits are not for airbag equipped vehicles. I'm not sure if that helps, but considering yours does have one...may be a thought.

Yeah, I realize that because of the airbag, they don't have an application number for 92 and up, but I know there have been other people who have done this, so I wanted to know what they did to fit the wheel on.

Yes, it's the same. They just don't list it because of the airbag. It also fits 94+ Integras and I'd be willing to wager it will fit all Hondas and Acuras 88+.

yeah it works. i used to use that hub in my eg on a pilot steering wheel. you will need the EF contact piece ( or a paperclip) if you want to make the horn work. but the hub works regardless. it does not extend far enough down to turn the turn signal cam though. i fixed this by cutting a short piece of silicone vaccum hose and sliding over the steering shaft before the hub went on. it puts enough pressure against the turn signal cam to turn them off. hope this helps.

Thanks JSPECSIR, I appreciate the tips on that and will make sure I keep that in mind when installing the wheel.

I didn't have the turn signal problem that JSPECSIR described. But good call on the "shoe horn". I forgot all about that. You can find tons of them at the junkyard or just order one from Majestic Honda for less than a dollar.

wrong. 92-95 egs and 96-00 eks are different.
