Need opinions on high mileage type-s in my area
Im just wondering if you guys think this is a good deal....
Theres an '02 Type-S Fire Pepper Red(my least fav. color but i can deal)
It has 104k miles, was used as a college commuter car for the mans son (made many trips to florida state university, hence the high mileage)
The car is rust free and free of any major dents. It does have a fair amount of door dings and surface scratches though from 100k miles of driving.
I drove the car for about 25mins and it pulls very nice and rides smooth. The SRS light is on and the cd player didnt work but he offered to have acura fix it before the sale.
The asking price is $9800 I think I could nab it for ~9300ish
Sorry no pics but does this sound descent? Is there anything else to look out for on these cars?

Go to the appraise a used car section. You can put in the miles, average condition and the zip code and see what other cars are selling for in YOUR AREA. What I may pay for the same car in Kentucky may have nothing to do with what you would pay in your area.
The miles are high for an '02, so I would expect a substantial discount for that and make sure you get it well checked out by a certifired mechanic, the devil is in the details.
