Default k20/RSX decisions...should I buy it?? HeLLLP HELLP HELLLP!!!!

Alright, i've got a chance to pick up a crashed 2002 RSX, for 1500$.

It's a base RSX, 74,000miles, needs front end, and somewhat of a frame (prob. radiator frame, etc) welded on. Most of that I can take care of myself. So that is not a big deal.

The guy says the motor is out of the car, and I want to know if I should just go ahead and buy the car, and see if it runs..lol.

I asked to have him drop in the motor to see if it runs, but let's just say it's up in the air.

I don't know whether or not to get it.

Also, would I be able to insure a salvage/rebuildable title or is this just more than i am asking for??

you better buy that shlt! And when you do, sell me the ABS wheel sensor from d/s front wheel. You can esaily make your money back and then some off the parts alone.

You have at least seen the car, how should we know if it will run? Put the engine on an engine dyno and you will know if it will run.

If you are planning on parting it out it sounds like a good deal, but you will have to figure on getting rid of lots of stuff and doing some shipping. If you are considering a rebuild, you better get a better handle on what you have.
