hey my car didnt have the mud guards and i just bought a set and later on i plan on having my car repainted including the side skirts... ive been trying to find pics of the mud guards painted is well.. will that even work out properly?

a looooooong time ago I had painted mudgaurds on my CRX. Over time the paint will chip.

 

i dont think it looks good. but hey if you wanna try it go for it

 

i bought my car with painted mud guards and they look like crap now cause they are starting to peel.

 

It's almost impossible to get mudguards not to chip if you paint them. Urethane does not hold paint well, especially when it's pelted with rocks, mud, road salt, and being scraped on speed bumps.
