for simplicity, I would keep the civic climate control (I don't know if that's what you meant or not) and use the civic dash harness. Otherwise, it'll require a bit more rewiring than the other way.

The 89 cluster will plug into the plugs for your 91 harness, but don't do it yet. All the same wires are there, but they are in a different order IIRC. There's other threads with diagrams, search around for them.

Good luck. I like my crx dash in my civic a lot more than the stock dash.

Oh, making sure, you have the little metal bracket from the crx that holds the bottom of the shift boot console? Most people forget that.

yea i have to keep my climate control because mine is manual and the crx is push button. so i have to re-hook up the wire connection in the back of mine. but yea i guess i could just keep the civic harness and just re-pin the cluster... hopefully all on that goes well. would all of the civic plugs work on all the crx?

stuff??<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by dkrex001 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">when you did the dash swap what did you do about the vin number</TD></TR></TABLE>
im just gonna pop off the vin plate... maybe even rivet the right ones back to the other dashes. who knows yet. i know i wont have the wrong one on there.
