Default what kind of primer would you guys recomend?

redoing my entire body, its primered right now but from the looks of it the guy that had it before me or so just put the primer right on top of the paint without sanding it down.. what kind of primer would you recomend? I plan on doing the body work and primering myself and getting it painted at a shop. Anyone know a good brand trusted by a lot of shops? thanks

If you suspect that the primer was sprayed over paint with out scuffing than you need to take it down. I suggest using a high build primer. It fills deep scratches and low spots. The ONLY time you need to use primer is to spray over body work or bare metal. If you are sprayin it over the entire car it is a COMPLETE waste. Use PPG, Dupont, etc. any name brand will do.
