I would like to add remote lock and alarm to my 2000 integra. Anyone know how, are there Acura kits, aftermarket kids?

 

i had that done and it works well. i have no clue how to do it so i got an audio shop to do it. it was $40 a door with a lifetime garantee.

 

The Acura Theft Deterrent / Keyless Entry was a dealer installed option on my '98 GS-R. I don't remember the installed price. You should be able to get it at any Acura dealer. I thought about installing it myself to save money, but it required disassembly of the steering column and I decided to let the dealer install it. With it being installed when the car was delivered new, it was covered under the factory warranty.

There are also various aftermarket systems that will do the same things and more. I have no experience with those.

 

I'm a mobile electronics installer and trust me, if you've never done this before...done try it on your car. Go to a mobile electronics store and purchase a alarm with keyless entry. These systems are usually priced with the installation already.

 

Of course there is aftermarker and oem. My 01 GSR came with oem alarm but I personally don't like oem much. Got an aftermarker alarm, remote entry and everything installed cheap! Go aftermarker!
