Ok, about 2 weeks ago I messed my motor up pretty ******* bad because I was a dumb *** and drove my motor without ANY oil for about 5-10 minutes and it started knocking really bad. I totally forgot to check it for probably a month. So I took my car to the shop and they replaced the main bearing on the crankcase and the thrust bearing. I just got my car back 2 days ago and yesterday the car was fine. Today I was driving along and the motor started sounding very weird, but it wasn't that bad and it wasn't loud. I just went on driving, for about 10 more miles or so and I took it back home. On the way back, I downshifted into 3rd and kinda got on it, and the car started bogging down VERY bad and also knocking again. I barely got it home and the motor idles at around 2-300 or so and the oil light kept blinking. I checked the oil and it was fine. Is this motor repairable or do i need to get another motor?

P.S: the motor is a GSR

 

Did they replace the oil pump? If the oil light is flickering then I would say oil pressure is the cause.

 

I don't know if they replaced the oil pump. i'll call them monday and see
