Another What Should I Do Thread
Please don't get me wrong, i use the search engine, but nothing pertains to my exact specifications.
I have a 91 Integra, RS, Coupe with 215K Miles.
She runs good, but when i "Get on it" she starts to smoke a little.
This is my first car, and my daily driver i drive an hour to and from work everyday + school.
I want her to last, i have put money into it (basic mods i [aem] / h [dc] / e [hks] ) and love the car.
I want to "Rebuild" the engine, but nothing crazy i never take it to the track or do any competitive car stuff.
I don't want to boost / spray her ever (considering this is my dd and she has to last through college)
I just wanted to know, what i should be looking into rebuilding for the car to make it reliable / decently "fast" just for the street to have a little fun in.
What would i need to go about replacing in an old car like this, i want to keep the stock motor (no swaps) and have already redone the grounds and most of the old hoses (i will replace the others as needed).
I'm talking internally, like cam shafts / gears / valvetrain / oem gasket kit?
what is my best bet ( money wise / reliability / quality ) in replacing, for basically a newer motor and won't have to worry about it being blown.
I recently replaced the timing belt , change oil frequenlty , fuel filter , air filter .. etc all the basic stuff.
Sorry for the long *** thread but your help is greatly appreciated.
i care a lot about my car so if your just going to flame, then please spare me and save your time.
Thanks in advance

For the rebuild you will need all the obvious; hone the cylinders, rings, bearings, oil and water pumps, seals and gaskets.
For performance and still on the cheap, you could use some Crower 403 cams, stock valvetrain and stock redline with some PR3 pistons for some nice gains.
For alittle more money, use Crower 404's, upgrade valvesprings, PR3/P30 pistons, ARP rod bolts, raise the redline a bit with a dyno tune.
For more money, lsvtec or swap.
Just throwing out some ideas.

where are you ordering your stuff from?
about how much would this cost to do it right?
do i have to tune it if i get stage 1 cam's ?
i want to get aftermarket valvetrain (just to replace it and not worry about it)
