H22 swap
yes the h22 wil work in that car as long as it was originally aa 4 cylinder. and use the correct ecu. get a p13 so buy a compete swap. that ecu will work but it is designed for a smaller motor so you wont get as much out of it. and if you get a obd1 motor you will have to get an obdII to obdI harness...
This has been the complication about the OBD harness. My car has the moblizer so how would the obd 1 sensory connect with the obd 2 sensory without using a piggy back.
Either:
1. convert your car to OBD1 and use a pre-96 Prelude ECU,
2. stay OBD2, use a 97+ Prelude ECU, and have a dealership reprogram the ecu/keys, or
3. stay OBD2, find an uber-rare 96 Prelude ECU.
97+ ECUs have the immobilizer. 96 and older do not.
There's plenty of threads about this swap, just do a search.
