white smoke after swap??? need help

Default white smoke after swap??? need help

ok i had an lsvtec in my hatch and ran like **** because the rings went bad so i got a b16 block and put my b16 head on it i used a one layer head gasket. no when im driving i can smell like coolant burning i think thats the smell and white smoke when i get on it? any would be awsome

You pretty much answered your own question, if its alot of white smoke its your head gasket, especially if the smoke is bad and you can smell it... where else would it be burning?

get some new head bolts, old head bolts can be strech.
