Hello, I'm new here.

I actually drive a 1995 Subaru Legacy Outback, but I'm shopping for my mom, and I was wondering what the good people here at Honda Tech could tell me about tophats for the 02 Civic. The only thing I managed to find by searching was a classified thread.

The front right tophat on her civic is rattling, making a lot of noise. The mechanic mentioned that it had a stress crack on it, but it wasn't dangerous. But it's gotten a lot noisier and the suspension is really soft now, so I'm guessing it's not in good shape, and I need to replace the fronts.

I guess my questions are:
What am I looking for?
Where would I find OEM or an upgraded tophat?

The best place to find OEM parts is the Honda Dealership. Something like that should be covered under warranty if you have it still.
