Default Time to set up swap

Alright the body is a 1989 CRX SI, it's a shell all it has is harness and axles left. I'm dropping in a D15B that comes with the following..
-Motor
-Transmission
-All Wires
-Dizzy
-Complete Intake Manifold
-Altenator
-A/C
-Power Steering Pump
-Brackets and Sensors

Alright so here's the thing, this is my first swap and *gasp* I'm doing it myself, I figured if I can swap out a 6.2l Diesel in a HMMV then I can definately do it in a Rex. Well I need to know about any parts I'm going to need to buy extra and also if someone has one a resource site or a topic on the swap, I searched on the forums but came up empty handed...anyone care to help?? BTW I haven't picked up the crx like I sad I'm preparing, it'll actually take place in a couple months because I'm still deployed right now but I'm going to thread that and the restor on the crx..any help would be great.

Default Re: Time to set up swap (EgHatch07)

did you get a hydraulic transmission? yes you did you cant use it unless you fab something up..power steering nope unless you swap out racks..if you got the transmission try to get you money back or sell it or fab something up. you need to swap the drivers side engine mount from the old motor, you must either use the obdo injectors or swap to the new ones...if you want to use the new ones theres a write up on how to do so but for simplicity just keep obdo injectors..you must reuse you old fuel pressure regulator also...you must also swap alternators..you may not have to but i did because my crank pulley with my swap was messed up..its an easy swap..you must convert to obd1 to run the engine properly...so you need a conversion harness a 4 wire o2 sensor and you must also run wires to the ecu for vtec..
