well, car i was just gonna buy's timing belt either snapped or came off.... he is taking the car to the mechanic, question is, what most likely happened??? he says everything still works besides engine (obviouslyl..) 88hx with si a6 engine.... thanks!

most likely find another a6 or whatever you want, to put in it, sometimes you can get lucky and no damage done, but usually your screwed. in my experience anyway.

the easiesst thing to do is just to swap the motor

just do a head swap, its real easy on almost any civic, unless u don't know **** about workin on cars
