Basically, I just picked up my 01 Civic Ex Coupe and I got some things I gotta take care of.. Besides the cosmetics of it, the previous owner took out the silencer in the greddy muffler/exhaust system so it leaves my car loud as expletive.. I don't suppose they sell silencers alone? Or would I have to buy a new muffler?

 

im guessing its the greddy evo II exhaust since the SP2 would be pretty quiet. the evo is still under 95db if that makes a diff. and as for silencers, you can check ebay.

 

The only ideas I have, are of the following:
1. Contact a dealership and see if they have extras, or can order them from Greddy.
2. Contact Greddy directly to get a replacement.
3. Buy a knock-off eBay special, and use the one from that. http://motors.search.ebay.com/...soo=1

 

If I get a silencer, I'm assuming you just click it on to the opening of the muffler? I'm kinda slow at this but I'm catching on! lol

There's going to be 1, possibly more, bolts that hold it in place as well.
