Default code flashing

I'm not too familiar with OBd, I'm looking for which plug you jump in a crx in order to flash the engine light code. I know in my OBd1 civic the jumper is under the glove box.

if you have an obd0 car, which is what i think im gathering, you just turn the key on to acc, and pull up the carpet and look at the ecu, a little red light will flash on it

i think it's still obd0 because only a jumper harness was used from obd0 to obd1

Just count the number of times it flashes. First number will blink slower than second number if it's a 2 digit code, followed by a long pause, and then it will repeat itself or flash a different code. Example...code 14 would look like this: - (slight pause) ---- (long pause, repeat)

Ok so the crx I'm working with has a ZC swap supposidly a 1.6L DOHC vtec out of an 89 Integra. I've never messed with a ZC motor before I'm just trying to troubleshoot it for a friend. It flashed code 6, 9 and 10. I looked in my 84-91 honda civic haynes manual for the code identification but 6 is like faulty ECU, code 9 has something to do with the No 1 cylinder and so does code 10. No1 cylinder was full of oil I pulled the plug out and the gap had been smashed in possibly by the piston. The other 3 cylinders plugs were fine no oil in their cylinders and gap was correct. The timing belt is loose probably skipped a tooth or something. I'm changing the timing belt and water pump at the current moment but as far as oil getting in No1 cylinder and the gap being smashed, does anyone have any input on this. Maybe it was caused from the timing belt jumping time a little

Also should I go by the honda civic haynes manual on the code identities or do the ZC motors have different codes
